Login.gov is a service that offers online access to government benefits such as the Trusted Traveler Programs platform, USA jobs platforms etc. With your login.gov account you can log into multiple government web services using same email and password. After October 1st 2017, this is the only way you can access and managed your Global Entry, Nexus, Sentri, APEC membership (or any other Trusted Traveler Program membership).
It’s important to know the difference:
All further actions that are required for your Global Entry/Nexus/Sentri application are performed only via the TTP platform. This includes initial application processing, renewal processing, interview scheduling, document updates etc. The system now has a Notification panel where you can find more information for you interviews, approvals and other letters.
If you do not have a login.gov account already, you must create one using a valid email address and a working phone number. You will need to create a strong password as well. Detailed information about this process, you can find in our visual step-by-step guide HERE.
If you are already a member of any Trusted Traveler Program, you may want to renew it at some point. You can easily do that by visiting the TTP platform directly or by using our assistance. In both cases, you must have a functioning login.gov account. If you were GOES member in the past, but still have not used the new system after the migration, you can follow our visual step-by-step guide HERE.
In the TTP platform, you can link your Known Traveler Number (KTN) with your account, in order to synchronize the information in the platform with your current membership status. Once you set these details, you would be able to manage your membership, request a replacement card (if lost/stolen or damaged), schedule an interview (if one is required), update documents, personal information updates etc.
As already mentioned above, the GOES system is no longer active. All Trusted Traveler Program members must create login.gov account in order to use the TTP new platform. The information you have previously in your GOES account is still available, if you link your new login.gov account /in TTP/ with you KTN /Known Traveler Number/ that is on the back of your card. When you do that, all of your details will be synchronized and updated.
If you application is conditionally approved, you will be requested to complete an interview in one the enrollment centers that is nearby you. You can review the available interview slots in each location as following:
For Global Entry For Nexus For Sentri
Family members must complete their interviews separately, including children under 18. Note that once you receive your child’s conditional approval, you’re cleared to schedule an interview for him/her. A parent or guardian must accompany the child to the interview, and each person applying must schedule a separate interview slot.
We highly recommend you to visit our Frequently Asked Questions Page, where you will find answers to almost all of your questions related to the Trusted Traveler Programs (Global Entry, Nexus, Sentri etc.)
